Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival

 

 

Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival is THIS WEEKEND!

This is a fun-filled weekend of live animals, crafts and supplies, entertainment and more. The festival is held at Howard County Fairgrounds:

Since I come from MD, I consider this to be my home festival. I try to go for at least one day each year. This year, I have some fantastic friends who will be vending:

 

 

Kate and her crew will have her Colors of Happiness in two locations this year.Cloverhill yarns, just inside the front door of the main barn, will have tons of colorways in the following yarns and fibers:

Djinni, Traveller, Selkie, Dance Rustic Silk, Super traveller and Polwarth roving. Kate will be  in the booth Sunday morning to say hello and answer any questions.

All day Saturday and Sunday afternoon, Kate will be in the Llamajama booth outside in E15 with Dragon sock, Squishy Lace, Soft twist Djinni, Super Djinni and Sea Monster roving.  Also at the Llamajama booth, you will see yarns from

Karida of Neighborhood Fiber Company and

my lovely Sarah of Cephalopod Yarns and books from Cooperative Press. When you come in the entrance, instead of turning left to go to the barns, turn right after the Family Activities Tent and before you hit the Auction tent.  The booth is in a lane with tents near Honeysuckle Pottery and Uncommon Threads.

I do have to say that I am SO enamoured of the name of their booth. Llamajama just sounds like FUN!

 

 

My lovely friend Gryphon will be in booth A20, in the Main exhibition hall.

 

Toni and her crew from The Fold will be in booth 18, in Barn 3 with Socks that Rock, and luxury fibers. Everything you might possibly need!
