Been a long time gone…

You know how it is, when you go away for a while, intending to have a short break, then you’re gone way longer than you intended, then your embarrassed that you’ve been gone so long, and afraid to come back? Yeah, that’s how this long absence happened. When Spin-U was shut down last year, I was really upset about it. I felt like I had let down the people who had signed up, but there just weren’t enough sign ups to warrant running the show, for the vendors to come out, to pay for the food. There is joy in failure

I thought about the closing of Spin-U for a couple of days before making the announcement. I worried about how people would react. Would they be kind, or would they be cruel? When you have been thinking about getting away, meeting with your tribe, a change of plans can be upsetting. I had an image in my head of people spreading rumors, saying mean things online or worse yet, in person or via email. It was so disturbing to me that I avoided making the announcement for four days. Classes and Hallockville Fiber Fair

Administrivia: The Class Descriptions are up! Thank you so much for being so patient! Knit One Spin Too has posted class descriptions for Spin-U. We have so many exciting classes planned!
